Setting Sail With Technology Week 1

Although beginning this class has been a tad overwhelming, I am on course to learn new skills to use in my classroom. Technology is something I use in many ways, such as journaling with a blog, using facebook to keep connected and updated with friends and family, creating and sharing photos, putting together photo books, capturing memories on the camcorder, researching information on various topics, emailing for personal and business purposes, having a love affair with my ipod, just to name a few. It seems only natural to use it in my classroom, but I have had many questions and concerns in how to use the above mentioned technologies and more advanced technologies as teaching tools. As I set sail, I am confident this class will provide many answers to those questions. My passport is ready, and I'm prepared for the journey!
